Miss Virtual World 2011: LAST Chance to Enter

ANNOUNCING: MISS VIRTUAL WORLD 2011 AUDITIONS

It´s that time of the year when the MISS VIRTUAL WORLD Organization begins the search for the most beautiful female avatar on the grid!

If you would like to be considered, please follow these instructions carefully. Entries which do not meet this  criteria will not be shown on the MISS VIRTUAL WORLD Board.

1. Send a FULL PERM 512 x 512 headshot to BlackBarbie Bravin AND Frolic Mills labeled: MISS VIRTUAL WORLD 2011  (YOUR NAME) (don´t forget the year!!). Just send the texture, no folder is needed.

2. At the end of every month the judges will select those ladies, from the entry board, who they would like to see at a live audition. This means your face shot will be your first impression on the judges-so make it fabulous!

3. If you are called back for a live audition, prepare an outfit that you think will impress the judges. You will be judged on your walk, pose, styling and overall appearance. Please be aware that we are NOT looking for a Miaa Rebane nor Mimmi Boa look alike. We are looking for a new fabulous MISS VIRTUAL WORLD!

4. If you get enough votes from the judges, you will be announced as an official MISS VIRTUAL WORLD 2011 candidate.

5. If you were called back, BUT did not make it into the official candidate´s list, you may audition again at a later live audition without resubmitting a new picture.

6. If you were not called back for a live audition at all, you may re-enter a new face shot for the following month.

7. Photoshop is allowed, but please keep photographs realistic so that it reflects what you actually look like in Second Life. (That´s why we have live auditions too)

8. Monthly auditions will be held from April till September. In October we will announce ALL the Official MISS VIRTUAL WORLD Candidates.

9. The MISS VIRTUAL WORLD Pageant will be held on December the 18th at 10:00 am SLT. Please be aware that all rehearsals and press presentations will be held on Saturdays at around this time from October to December. If you cannot commit to this schedule, please don´t audition at all.

The Face of Beningborough 2011 Contest

THE FACE OF BENINGBOROUGH 2011 PRESS RELEASE

The search is on for THE FACE OF BENIINGBOROUGH 2011.
We are looking for a model with the whole package who exudes confidence, style and glamour . with a chamelon type quality who can bring to life all the genres of design from the House of Beningborough Collection created by Bliss Beningborough , Designer/CEO .

This year the contest will be run in conjunction with our sponsors, Evane Modeling Agency run by the very beautiful and talented Mimmi Boa , Miss Virtual World 2009, and the most famous model face in SL. Mimmi is the CEO of Evane Agency and the MImmi Boa Modeling Academy as well as having a very illustrious modeling career of her own, modeling in shows and ad campaigns for the very best designers in the world of fashion here in sl.
We are launching the contest with our sponsors Bestyle Magazine with the gorgeous Miss VW 2009, Evane Ceo , Mimmi Boa and our reigning Face of Beningborough , the stunning Keira Tyles on the August Cover with an accompanying inside feature . So look out for the August issue of Bestyle. Pick up a copy at the House of Beningborough Mainstore.

The launch show and launch party will be held on Saturday 28th August, 2010 with music and entertainment as well as a HOB Fashion show opened by our reigning Face of Beningborough , Keira Tyles .
Keira has appeared in HOB fashion shows, photoshoots and advertising campaigns and has been signed to Avenue Modeling Agency as a result of this .
The very talented Noma Faita will be performing at the launch party , so dont miss it !!!!

THE WINNER OF THE FACE OF BENINGBOROUGH 2011 WILL WIN 50,000L$ AND A WILL APPEAR ON THE COVER OF BESTYLE MAGAZINE FEBRUARY ISSUE, AS WELL AS A 6 PAGE FASHION SPREAD AND FEATURE INSIDE THE FEBRUARY ISSUE AND WILL RECEIVE ALL NEW RELEASES FROM THE HOUSE OF BENINGBOROUGH DURING HER REIGN AS WELL AS AN INVITATION TO THE HOUSE OF BENINGBOROUGH ELITE MODEL TROUPE AND WILL OPEN ALL HOB OWN SHOWS AS WELL AS APPEARING IN PHOTOSHOOTS AND AD CAMPAIGNS FOR BOTH MAGAZINE, WEB AND INSTORE PROMOTIONS.. AND WILL RECEIVE THE ‘FOB 2011 ‘ TITLE .
PLUS THE WINNER WILL BE INVITED TO BECOME A MODEL WITH EVANE MODEL AGENCY !!

Starting on 28th August , models are invited to apply by photo submission ( see rules of entry below) and each month 12 models will be chosen to attend model trials at Evane Model agency . (see rules for dates)
The Contest this year will be run by Naiya Kazyanenko the House of Beningborough Manager and Darkevilone Demonia , assistant director of Evane Agency. who will oversee the model auditions and choose 5 models to become FOB finalists and receive FOB Finalist tags. These models will go forward to the FOB Finalists show to be held in January 2011 where we will pick our Face of Beningborough 2011. Models not chosen for either the trials or as a finalist in each month may re apply the following month.

RULES OF ENTRY

1. YOU MUST BE IN THE HOUSE OF BENINGBOROUGH GROUP
(NOT THE SUBSCRIBOMATIC) ALL NOTICES WILL BE SENT IN THE HOB GROUP .

2. ALL ENTRANTS MUST HAVE HOUSE OF BENINGBOROUGH IN THEIR PICKS SECTION OF THEIR PROFILE.

3. SEND A NOTECARD HEADED – FACE OF BENINGBOROUG – YOUR NAME – WEEK 1,(WEEK2, ETC)
DO NOT SEND FILES OR TEXTURES – ALL ENTRIES MUST BE ON NOTECARDS.

4. ON THE NOTECARD ATTACH UP TO 3 PHOTOS PER ENTRY
(1.) CLOSE UP HEADSHOT
(2). GOWN SHOT – A FULL LENGTH OR 3/4 SHOT OF YOU IN ONE OF THE LATEST RELEASES FROM HOUSE OF BENINBOROUGH..
(3). A FULL LENGTH OR 3/4 LENGTH IN ANY HOB OUTFIT OF YOUR CHOICE.
MODEL MAY WEAR ANY ACCESSORIES AND WILL BE JUDGED ON HER STYLING ABILITIES AND COMPOSITION OF SHOTS , SHOWING GOWN /OUTFIT AND HERSELF IN THE BEST LIGHT.

5. SEND YOUR ENTRIES TO NAIYA KAZYANENKO .
MODELS CHOSEN FOR THE MODEL TRIALS WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN THE HOB GROUP AS WELL AS BEING CONTACTED INDIVIDUALLY
