Contest Results: Mr & Miss Moolto 2010 FINALISTS

Over 250 SL residents have applied to be the Face and Spokesperson for Moolto.com.
Thirteen Men and Thirteen Women were chosen to be a Pre Semi-Finalists.
Maxes Loon, CEO of Moolto, personally interviewed each contestant to pick the TOP TEN MEN & TOP TEN WOMEN to be Semi-Finalists.

And the competition just began….
Over the next few weeks, the 6,000 members of Moolto were encouraged to pick their favorites and they voted by the hundreds to make their voices count for 30% of the total score.
On January 23, the semi-finalists were grilled with tough interview questions in a live stage to be judged by a selected panel of high profile talented VIPs from across all fields in SL. The judges scores tally up to 70% of the final score.

Back To The Future Fashion Show

On November the 19th, 1 PM SLT

“Back to the future” is a new, experimental, show-event, specifically planned to showcase designers who create contemporary outfits as well as those fine tailors with a specific love for the past or futuristic tendencies, who base their creations following past fashion and culture or imagine how fashion will be within the very next decades.

We are going to present a collection of outfits from the nineteenth century and from the first years of the twentieth century, as well as some focusing on contemporary fashion and last but not the least, futuristic ones. Our goals are to highlight how much fashion has changed in the arc of 100-150 years, to show what influences past fashion trends on contemporary creations and how these are likely to turn into what will be the fashion of the future.

The showcased designers are, chronologically:Tiny@Boudoir, Le Grenier Du Chateau, Ginevra Lancaster Fashion, **DD STYLE**, ALB Fashion, Gems&Kisses, Miamai.

DJ Willow Shelford will meanwhile play some themed music for your ears delight, going from the indie-new wave (New Order, Bow Wow Wow, Gang Of Four, Siouxsie and the Bainshees, Electrelane) to some old classics (The Andrews Sisters) to contemporary and trance works (Goldfrapp, La Roux, Simian Mobile Disco, M83).
Pictures of show will be provvided from Hermes Kondor owner of Kondor Photo Studio.
