FASHION: This wonderful white suit is from Lapointe & Bastchild. I really love the crisp white pureness of the suit in contrasts to the amazing dark vest and the red tie. The texture is exquisite especially how smooth and cool it appears. The little details on the suit adds class, from the buttons of the jacket to the belt and jacket tail. The ROSE boutonnière puts a touch of ROMANCE that would melt your date’s heart. I had the honor of modelling this suit for AGATA Agency’s “East Meets West Wedding Show Collection”. RicoRacer Flux’s The Journey: A lot of people have wondered why I haven’t been on SL much. I took a little break from modelling and focusing more on my real life. Modelling can be really demanding especially on time, and there are some important things that I have neglected in RL and needed my attention. I always tell people to put Real Life FIRST. That’s why it is called Second Life. =) But of course, it doesn’t mean not to honor your SL commitments. BALANCE is the key. A model who takes long breaks sometimes worry about losing their spot/position in the industry, but I believe a break is necessary sometimes to energize and re-focus on your goals or else risk being burnt out. Also, It is important to learn to say NO and not overbooked on jobs. There was a time when I was doing 2 or more shows per week plus multiple print jobs, blogging and teaching on the side. I was absolutely going NUTS and modelling became stressful WORK instead of creative FUN. Anyway, I am starting modelling for magazines and store ads again and casting for shows. And NO, I have no intention at this time of being a partner in a modelling agency/academy, publishing or being an editor in a magazine or opening some kind of a styling business.Thank you for the consideration but I am not ready yet at this time for that type of commitment. I just do what I do best for now…modelling. =)
