PURPLEMOON CONTEST

Celebrating PurpleMoon’s 3rd Anniversary we are holding a styling photo contest to give our customers the possibility of winning lots of outstanding prizes from our sponsors: PurpleMoon, KittyCatS, WetCat, White Widow, Finesmith, Amorous, Denver’s, Melu Deco and Pura Vida.

We would like to get to know you better, we want to see how you recreate our creations, how you mix and match our clothing, how original and creative you can be.

If you are willing to show us your side of our beloved PurpleMoon, please read the instructions carefully and join us!

Instructions:

We ask you to style a look wearing PurpleMoon clothing following any of the themes we propose for this contest: Boho Chic – Casual Contemporary – Vintage – Formal Classic

* Each contestant can submit up to 4 (four) pictures.They can be different themes or all the same.
* These pictures must be submitted to our Flickr Pool http://www.flickr.com/groups/1942265@N24/ and in the description should be stated the theme of your choice and a complete styling card of the items worn. Pictures will not be accepted in world or any other way.
* Accessories and hair can belong to other brands. Clothing must be PurpleMoon only. More PM you wear, more chances to win!
* Any current or previous collections are allowed. Discounted items and gifts also.
* Picture size suggested 1024 x 1024 pixels. Other sizes will be accepted but please keep the resolution high. We really want to see your work in a proper way!
* Deadline: June 27th
* Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges and they will be announced at our Anniversary Party on June 30th at 2PM.

Essence of Ebony Seeks Applicants

THE ESSENCE OF EBONY CONTEST was designed to recognize aspiring women of color through out history and the modern woman of today. The contest will recognize your beauty and your upcoming achievements here in sl.  In honor of Black history month ( February) we want to honor you.
This Pageant seeks to give young, talented Ebony women a platform to impact their SL communities while gaining grid wide exposure. It is an opportunity for these newer Ebony models to obtain a sense of well-being and self-confidence by competing for a prestigious title that will continue to enhance their second lives.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of Miss Essence of Ebony Contest is to identify, develop, and promote awareness of Ebony Models within Second Life.
This mission is served through intensive contestant development and by working with our contestant/models on a continuous basis by providing scholarships and ongoing training. This pageant was developed to celebrate the many shapes, sizes, colors, and textures of women of EBONY descent and to provide a forum for those women to showcase their talents.

The spirit of this contest is for the fun and enjoyment of the contestants and to promote and impact cultural awareness . The rules are designed to promote fair play and good will.

You must submit your application in order to be considered for the competition. Please read through and complete  THE ESSENCE OF EBONY CONTEST- APPLICATION BEFORE SUBMITTING.

Monthly Photo submissions will be accept April 2011-Dec 2011. Photo submissions close on the 18th of each month. You May enter as many times as you wish if your not chosen the first time you applied all the way until December 18, 2011

Help us build a great body of work by sharing your Shiki pics – and celebrate by joining our Shiki Summer Snapshot contest! Be as creative as you like and submit your photos to the flickr group and be in to win some great prizes including an exclusive outfit, and $5000L to spend in store!

Entering is easy. Join the Shiki design flickr group, and start adding your pics…
1: You must be wearing a Shiki design item from our 2011 Spring/Summer collection. Mix it with anything you like – another Shiki, another season, another store – get creative with your style.
2: Set the scene – find your space, and strike a pose. Take a great pic and share it with the group!
3: Name yourself/your models and mark it as “Shiki Summer Snapshot Entry”

Conditions:

CONTEST: Vero Modero’s Next Face of Fashion

VERO MODERO’S MODEL HUNT

DO YOU WANT TO PROGRESS WITHIN YOUR MODELING CAREER? OR MAYBE YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE A MODEL??

BE THE NEXT FACE OF FASHION!

General Guidelines:
The modeling contest will run April, May and June of 2011. Each month, there will be 2 males and 2 females that will be chosen to be part of the VERO MODERO’S MODEL HUNT FINALE in July.

The deadline for your application for the April 2011 Model Hunt is March 28, 2011. The photo from your free shoot (see 3. below) will be posted at the VERO MODERO Main store for the entire month of April. A mini-fashion show and announcement of the monthly finalists will be on April 23, 2011 and so on for the following months as well.

Contest Guidelines:
1.     You must wear the newest collection from VERO MODERO brands and style your outfit the best way you can! Take note, you will be judged on your styling skills only. This is not a popularity contest!

2.     Submit the note card below to Fuzz Lennie and rename it [VERO MODERO’S Model Hunt – Your name]. Do not add any symbols (e.g. !@#$) in the title. We may miss your entries if you fail to follow this requirement.   􀀎

3.     VERO MODERO Management Team will schedule you for a free photo shoot with Kaan Khun, the official photographer of VERO MODERO’S MODEL HUNT. The picture will serve as your entry to the contest and it will be posted at the VERO MODERO Main store.

CONTEST – [sYs] Designs

[sYs] Design has decided to open a contest to find out what amazing art can be created through [sYs] Designs combined with the massive styling skills of talented male and female models and photographers on the grid.

What do you have to do to join?
– Every month a theme will be selected and all pictures will have to be related to that specific theme that will be announced on the flickr group.

– JOIN the [sYs] Designs Contest group on flickr to be able to upload your entries:

– Make a picture wearing [sYs] Design following the theme for each month, that is 1024×1024 or 2048×1024 in size.

– Rename them on flickr as follows “[sYs] Design (Name) (Theme of the Month)”

– On the description field write a small paragraph explaining why your image is related to the theme of the month and all sYs items showing on the image.

– Submit your Images before the 20th of each month. Winners will be announced between the 21st and 23rd of each month.
