MANIERA LLC. announces launch of MANIERA Magazine into real life
WASHINGTON D.C. – MANIERA Magazine, one of Second Life®’s premier magazines, officially announces the launch of their real life digital publication. Coming June 2012, MANIERA LLC will release a preview of the new venture of MANIERA.

The real life digital publication will focus on news, entertainment, celebrity interviews, fashion, business and lifestyle features.

MANIERA LLC will continue its monthly in-world Second Life version, which will now be known as MANIERA SL. The real life version will now be known solely as MANIERA. With the new changes, there will be a new Web site, in-world kiosk and branding in the near future.

“It’s been in the pipeline for the last two years and now it’s finally happening,” MANIERA CEO Topaz Joubert said. “Second Life is our home, and we have a strong base here. We hope our readers will follow both editions. The response and interest from inside and outside Second Life has been extremely positive. It will be a challenge to run two consecutive magazines both in Second Life and in real life but the entire MANIERA staff is up for the new challenges. It’s truly a dream come true.”

Joubert’s role will focus on the launch and development of the business platform for the real life version of the publication. The day to day operations for MANIERA in both Second Life and real life will be overseen by Chief Operations Officer Aphrodite Brianna.

“This is an exciting time for us all at MANIERA,” Brianna said. “We have a fantastic product and a fantastic team behind it. I am really proud to be a part of this.”

Ji Nirvana will oversee the editorial workflow as Editor-in-Chief for both publications.

“The launch of MANIERA into real life will be a challenge for all of us but I believe that we will succeed in producing a publication that we all can be proud of,” said Nirvana. “It’s exciting to be a part of team who is passionate and dedicated to making the real life version possible.
