Want to be the next cover of BOSL Magazine?

Then…. show us how you burlesque!

February is the official month of love, friendship, sensuality and fun and we would like to show our appreciation for all of your support by opening the cover of our magazine to all of you. We are looking for a cover star who can do burlesque with elegance, style and a lot of sass!

Will you be alone in the picture? or would you prefer to be with your best friend or maybe even your loved one?

Think the glory days of burlesque from the 1920s and 1930s and dazzle us with your vintage showgirl/boy look.

Keep the photo, your styling and poses PG and tasteful, but let your vintage inspiration run wild.

Modeling and photography credits for the winning photo will be given.
Please send your photo(s) to Frolic Mills no later than Wednesday 25th January labeled BOSL FEBRUARY COVER (your name/s).

This competition is open to models, stylists, photographers, readers and designers.

Please keep in mind it is a cover shot, so leave some space for me to write some crap around.

Models Workshop Style Challenge

Model’s Workshop 2012 Style Challenge

It’s a brand new year and the Model’s Workshop Styling Challenges are back in a whole new way! We want to challenge and help you all grow as stylists.

Each month we will announce a new theme. Participants will style accordingly and submit their photos to our Flickr group. A small panel of judges will choose the top 10 entries. Then those 10 entries will be asked to join us for an in-world showcase on the last Wednesday of the month at 2pm.

If you are selected as one of the entries, please have a style card ready to share with the MW.

The winners for each month will have their photos displayed at the MW and will participate in a final Style Challenge Showcase where one lucky stylist will be named MW Stylist of the Year.

This challenge is open to both male and female models.

All challenge info will be available via the Flickr group. So, check back each month for theme, dates and updates.

How to participate:
– Join the Flickr Group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/mwstyle/
– Sumbit one (1) photo to the group. Multiple entries will not be accepted.
– Label the photo: MW Challenge – Month – Your Name
