Hello Everyone,
I know that this is not fashion related but I thought I’d share something that I found on the web which really touched my heart. It is so easy to treat each other with disrespect and jealousy when competing for modelling jobs or fashion contest. Please treat each other kindly. There is a human being behind each avatar who has feelings and dreams. I’ve always believed that whatever you give, you will get back tenfold.
Anyway, these are real pictures captured. I think the credit for the pictures goes to Wilson Hsu. I just thought it is really touching that it should be shared with all of you.
A female sparrow was hit by a car as she swooped low across the road and the condition was soon fatal.
Her male mate discovered her fate and started to bring her food and attended to her with love and compassion.
He cared for her again and again until he discovered that she had died.
He tried to move her with great effort, away from the road.
Frustrated and helpless, He stood beside her with sadness and sorrow.
Aware that his mate was dead and would never come back to him again, he cried with adoring love…
Millions of people were touched after seeing these photos in America , Europe, Australia , and even India . The photographer sold these pictures for a nominal fee to the most famous newspaper in France . All copies of that edition were sold out on the day these pictures were published.
If a bird can show love and caring, WHY CAN’T WE?
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, and speak kindly.
Ohhh Rico … his cry tore my heart out 😦
That really touched my heart Rico! You have such a tender heart, Love you ❤️
Awwwww. A very moving series of photos. Thanks for sharing it with us.
These photos moved me… thank you for posting
Oh.. I found the source of the photos. It’s from AbuNawaf.com. The site is in another language, so here is an english article about it: http://scienceblogs.com/grrlscientist/2008/10/one_of_lifes_tiny_dramas.php
And the creature is a barn swallow.. but it’s okay because I thought it was a sparrow too. lol
Once I had two parakeets that were mated.. when the female died, the male cried just like the sparrow in the picture did. The male was the type of bird who never stopped singing, but after his mate passed away, he stopped talking completely for a few days.
He originally had no desire to explore the outside world. There were many times when the cage door was open or he would find himself outside, he was just turn right back around and come back in the house. Not too long after he lost his mate, he took advantage of the cage door being open and flew away.
My hearts breaking. When I see things like this pertaining to animals, I literally feel it inside.
ohh woow 😦
